ASO Sofia & ASO Ljubljana: Results of the fourth call for proposals "South Eastern Europe's Scientific Response to: Biodiversity protection, climate change and energy scarcity"

The Austrian Science and Research Liaison Offices Ljubljana and Sofia (ASOs) have evaluated project proposals received under their fourth call for research cooperation and networking between Austria and South Eastern Europe - Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo/UNMIK, FYR of Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia. Funding is provided by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Science and Research (bmwf) in the framework of its South Eastern European science cooperation initiative.

The focus of this year's call was on "South Eastern Europe's Scientific Response to: Biodiversity protection, climate change and energy scarcity". From a number of 25 eligible proposals including the following projects will be funded during 2008-2009:

Balkan Network of Biotechnology in Animal Reproduction for the Protection and Restoration of Animal Genetic Resources in the Region
